Gobik Cold Series 23
It seems incredible how quickly the summer has passed, almost without realizing it, it has been months of long bike rides and heat, but we are at the end of September and we are starting the autumn-winter season. One of the moments that we like the most arrives: the launch of the new Gobik Cold Series.
For most cyclists, summer is the most attractive time of the year to go cycling, but the guys from Yecla (Spain) want to prove that we can enjoy as much or more in the winter months. How? With advanced technology garments that will insulate us from the wind, rain or cold. Something that seems simple, but in an intense sport like cycling, it is not.
In this article we give a complete review of Gobik’s new garments, design lines and technical innovations for winter 2022-2023, a season the brand calls Cold Series 23.
Don’t miss: GOBIK’s winter garments comparison, where you can see all the models sorted by temperature of use, wind and water protection.
New BLEND line
One of the main novelties of this Cold Series 23 is the appearance of a new design line called BLEND. If you remember, last year the Mist jacket was launched with great success. It previewed this trend, which is a combination of a solid black body with full-color sleeves.
The name BLEND is very apt, because its design is based on mixing two styles already available from Gobik: its usual full color PRINTED line and the more recent SOLID line, completely in black, used, for example, by the Pacer Solid Jet Black jersey.
The new style looks great, combining with the classic black winter culotte but adding a touch of color in the sleeves. It looks very attractive and is sure to be a great success, as Mist was.
We would also like to point out that this line not only has a good aesthetic finish, but its technical properties are also different. As we had the opportunity to see in the review of the Pacer Solid Jet Black, the solid black fabric is made of polyamide, a very elastic, warm and soft material. The feeling when wearing it is very pleasant, the garment fits like a glove, does not stretch and adapts to our body in a fantastic way.
The BLEND line is available in the long jerseys Pacer, Cobble and the Mist jacket. Both for men and women. And precisely the latter are in luck, because the brand has made an effort to offer many more female references in its catalog, which is the next novelty.
More in female
Girls are in luck with this new Cold Series 23, as Gobik has included many more women’s versions in its catalog, providing this option to practically all types of garments.
Here you have a list of all the models that have an exclusive version for women (we omit the unisex ones, although they also work):
Long Sleeve Jerseys

Cold Series 23 News
Of course, the new Cold comes with new garments, which is what we like the most. Here we present all of them and we hope, in the very near future, to be able to make an in-depth review of them.
Cell Skin Undershirt
Technical undershirt for medium and high temperatures with Polartec® Delta™ fabric, a true revolution in breathability and temperature regulation working more efficiently than second skin fabrics. Thanks to a hexagonal structure that raises the points of contact with the skin, the inner air flow is increased, with faster moisture dispersion and less adherence. Available in men’s and women’s versions.
Unbeat Light Jacket
This is a lightweight, foldable windbreaker jacket with adjustable hood, made of Nylon Ripstop fabric, with fantastic technical characteristics, as it is lightweight, tear-resistant and breathable. Thanks to its mechanical elasticity you will have no problem on technical mountain bike or gravel routes. In addition, a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment is applied to keep you insulated from rain in light precipitation. The hood is adjustable by means of a rear elastic drawstring, which in addition to offering an optimal fit, provides extra comfort and insulation in adverse weather conditions.
Eminent Thermal Vest
Lightweight, double-layer thermal vest. The fully windproof front fabric has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that will keep you insulated from light rain. The inner side features Polartec® Alpha® lining, a technology developed for US Special Forces, who required superior insulation with optimal breathability in continuous start/stop combat conditions. This fill combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh core to create active air circulation. It is very lightweight, compressible and wicks away moisture generated by exertion instantly.
Zero Thermal Gloves
Thermal winter gloves for very low temperatures and extreme conditions, windproof, rain resistant and with Primaloft® Gold thermal insulation made from 100% recycled fibers. Water-repellent outer fabric bonded to a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane to wick away excess sweat and keep hands dry.
EXO waterproof jacket
Fully waterproof, highly breathable and fully thermosealed technical jacket. The main fabric is composed of a waterproof layer that incorporates the renowned Event® DVstorm™ membrane, a completely water and wind repellent material, capable of optimum breathability and sweat evacuation. In the areas that require mobility, a waterproof and recycled three-layer fabric developed in-house has been chosen, which stands out for its high elasticity. It also includes an extended rear skirt that provides protection in the rear area against splashes.
