GIANT UNICLIP: what does this system consist of?

UNICLIP is the name of GIANT‘s under-saddle anchoring system, a great idea to safely and aesthetically integrate a multitude of accessories. In this article we show you all its possibilities. You will be surprised by how many things you can install on it.

Safety, aesthetics and aerodynamics

Bicycles are beautiful in the catalogs, so clean and aerodynamic… until you have them at home and you start to put all kinds of accessories hanging in the most unexpected places, necessary things if you do long routes and you don’t want to stay lying on the road: tool bag, CO2 bottles, rear light…

At GIANT they set out to organize all these accessories in the best possible way, to integrate them under the saddle with a system that would allow us to gain safety and aesthetics or aerodynamics. Thus UNICLIP was born.

If you buy a saddle compatible with this system, you will see that the lower case has a small rubber cap that hides a hole for a screw:

Here the «cradle» of the UNICLIP system is attached, with which we also get a cover, in case at some point we do not use any accessories and want to cover the rear gap:

It is a waterproof, aerodynamic and very light tool bag (63 g) with an anchoring system that allows us to put on and take off in a super simple way, also keeping the Numen+ rear light in place:
